let's get right over to meteorologist justin drabick. more on the threat for storms into the overnight hours. we're already seeing some activity right, justin? >>> that's right, natasha. thing lighting up on storm scan3. a lot of lightning going on outside right now. check out all the lightning strikes. really this extends up into the lehigh valley down through bucks, montgomery, chester counties and moving into cecil county, maryland. this is all pushing eventually will impact physical probably another half hour or so. even to extreme more than delaware and eventually into south jersey most of the activity we have seen so far has been northwest of the city. that will change later on over the next few hours. more storms developing to our south and west. see system county maryland into chester county, all the way up through the lehigh valley this is severe thunderstorm that is impacting central montgomery and bucks counties and try to time this out for you little bit. zoom in closer moving off to the northeast about 25 miles per hour. so

as we get toward the even of the month with some surprising statistics, here's meteorologist justin drabick live on the skew dick and justin i was looking at the some over information and it is really surprising, the lack of warmth we have had this um iser. >> that is right, exactly, kathy. i was looking ahead beyond the seven day and i still don't see signs of persistent heat where we get long stretches of 90-degree days. if you didn't think this sum hear about hon so far you are right. check this out. tallying up 90-degree days, only 12 so far author this year. big difference from 2010 if you remember that 55 days. even last year wasn't that hot right around 20 degrees days of 90-degree plus degrees day and then so far only two heat waves this summer. so here's is what happening for the end of july, probably men to august. so next week we will see a big dip or a trough in the jet stream develop over the eastern united states. this will bring in a strong upper level low pressure system. that will help bring in cooler temperatures. it looks like next week into early august, temperatures wil
