. >>> let's check in with meteorologist justin drabick who has been tracking the remnants of erika tonightrom our weather center. justin, what should the u.s. man land still be expecting from this storm? >> diana, even though the storm has lost its tropical characteristics it still contains some heavy thunderstorms. we're looking at potential heavy rainfall for the islands, cuba, the bahamas and south central florida. the storm is losing it's tropical characteristic. doesn't have that circulation so not very impressive looking on the satellite but it's over eastern cuba right now tracking to the west and northwest. it will be impacting the bahamas and south central florida. the good news is they need rain in florida but they could be dealing with possibly two, three, maybe even 4-inches of rain by early next week through tuesday as the remnants move on shore. if you have travel plans down to the bahamas florida early next week watch out for some thunderstorms and winds may gust up to 25 miles per hour. so, back home a warm day today, 87 degrees officially, above the average high of 84, rec
