"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us at that scene at fourth and cambria in north philadelphia with the very latest, justin, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning. crime scene unit kick off a wide part of the area including cambria and 2800 block of moore street. that is where they found a man clinging to life last night and he would die of his gun shot injuries. let's take you to video from overnight, police say about 10:45 last night they got several calls to 911 about shots fired in the area of cam bree and fourth street and they now believe as many as 12 shots were fired during that time. now, four to five cars also hit, in that gunfire, officers responding to that shots fired call found that victim with several shots to his chest area and one it is a lower extremities, but the shooter when police arrived was long gone. officers did get that victim to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later and now police are hoping that someone who saw something, comes forward. lets take a listen. >> we had no witnesses. so we're asking if there

"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live at the scene with the latest on the suspect. justin? >> reporter: nicole, good morning there is woman tells police three men charged into her home, overnight, one holding a gun to her head. all as two other men ransacked her home as her kid slept. this all happened at about 1:00 this morning, that woman says she heard a noise in her basement, the victim then went downstairs to go check it out when she was met by three men, they apparently broke a deadbolt on her door, and made their way inside. this victim says the men's face was covered, all wearing dark clothing, they then forced her upstairs, to her kitchen, where they covered her face with a towel and held a gun to her head warning her not to look or they would pull the trigger. so, she had to listen, helplessly, as these mentor her home apart and her kids, her two year old son, and ten year old daughter, were asleep upstairs, police shared with us a bit of her chilling story. take a listen. >> while one male held a gun to her head, the other two, she could hear going through

"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins you now, outside the courthouse, he has the latest on thisd morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning, that trial is set to begin today, but we do know that last week that griffin campbell turned down a plea deal, that would have reduced his prison time as well as his chargesment now, if accepted, campbell's deal women have thrown out his murder charges, and capped his prison term to no mow that 20 years. campbell is a contractor by trade, and he now faces charges, including, third degree murder, wreckless endangerment, conspiracy, other offenses. campbell is one of two charged in that deadly salvation army store collapse, on june 5th, 2013, at 22nd and market street. six were killed, more than dozen were injured. the one-story store was topple by an unsupported 3-story wall, that wall was part of next-door demolition job with back hoe operator sean benschop. he took a plea deal similar to one campbell refused. he said he knew that dim owe was very dangerous but proceeded because his boss, campbell, toll him to. benschop cheering back in july
