i'm justin rose. we are morgan stanley. >>> welcome back to squawk box it is a very big week for the economy leading up to friday's jobs report. kicking it off today, the small business report being released joining us to go over it is marty who is ceo to the extent that your report is going to help us discipher what we may hear later in the week, help us with it and tell us what is happening. >> these are businesses under 50 employees. down about 1% from last year still seeing job growth but less and i think what it's telling us is that small businesses in particular are a little bit cautious because of the tariff issue. they also run out of pricing control. they're a little bit more cautious about that. it's a tough labor market to hire >> you think it's a tariff story. what do you think come the end of the month given the new tariffs that were going on today? >> now our research shows that the majority of small businesses are not impacted by the tariffs. so it's mostly that it's a tight labor marke
