hosted by justine waldman and grant lodes. that's on friday night. february 28th. at nine p.m. kron 4. a winter storm blankets parts of the northwest and more snow is expected to arrive later in the day. a winter storm dropped another round of snowfall in what is likely to be the biggest february snowstorm to hit the portland, oregon region since 1996. a local meteorologist predicts the storm will end up dropping between five and 10 inches of snow on the eye-5 corridor and the portland area. although the snow is expected to end today-- freezing rain arrives on sunday, with single digit wind chills. and these skiiers in portland are enjoying the snow. check out these cross country skiers, trekking through the streets of portland, oregon friday. a smaller group of skiers did the same thing during the city's big snowstorm back in 2008. the storm struck and then to tropical moisture of setting off shore and it will continue to demonstrate and to the bay area up today and tomorrow. we are seeing some impact. obviously some kind on the roadway also airport delays. sfo seen some nasty
