kron 4's justine waldman sat down with the marin county boy. now being called a hero. where am i going to go? how am i going to do this? it came out well and i got it done. he's just 9 years old, but bode bierdneau has courage well beyond his years. while on a snowmobile trip with his father. in lake tahoe over the weekend. his dad jt bierdneau crashed into a tree it's an accident that could have killed him. with a broken leg, he became trapped under the snow. i had to dig him out and my hands were numb and i couldn't feel them then he told me to get my shovel and dig him out. in desperation, with no cell phone or gps bode set off by himself on his snowmobile to go get help. it was really freaky he was in a lot of pain and said it really hurts and please help me i was just really scared of the helicopter keeping his cool, bode directed emergency crews to his dad. and they helicoptered him to safety. is now home from the hospital, and should be just fine. i can't believe i am getting so emotional about this bode's mom tisha shaw couldn't be prouder of her son. that is j

i'm justine waldman in for marty gonzalez. thank you so much for joining us on this sunday, april 6th. we will have our top stories in just a minute. >>> first let's check our weather forecast. >> waking up to pretty clear conditions. we have some high clouds as we take a live look from mount tam. overall a gorgeous day with temperatures well above where they should be for this time of year. san francisco right now at 51 degrees, pretty mild right now. santa rosa at 45. actually, temperatures not much different than where they were 24 hours ago, but boy are you going to feel that warmup later on today with temperatures approaching 80. i actually think we will see 80 degrees in fairfield, 70 for downtown san francisco. upper 70s through the livermore valley, mid-60s along the coastline, so very warm weather on the way. temperatures will peak as we head into monday and tuesday, so if you have those days off, maybe a great opportunity to head to the beach. i'll talk about when the rain is expected back in the forecast, plus i'll
