kagoshima saw rain in 24 hours. more rain is expected. in the next few weeks it is going to be very wet and yes, southern china continues too see more precipitation so for the rest of this week it looks like we'll be dealing with the rain. here's a look at what we're expecting in terms of the rain fall amount. 100 to 120 millimeters of rain fall is possible into places like western japan in kyushu. also down into hong kong, and areas in the guangdong province, 120 millimeters of rain fall are possible. you can see here that the forecast calls for more precipitation for hong kong and high pay. highs from the upper 20s to lower 30s and also some cloud cover maybe some shoers into seoul with a high of 28. also a high of 28 in tokyo for our wednesday. we take a look at europe. we are seeing a low pressure system in the eastern portions of europe bringing some more precipitation into parts of st. petersburg and moscow and also seeing another low pressure system bringing rain for the balkan peninsula. i know we don't need any more rain but it l

if you look farther down toward the south into kyushu and kagoshima down to okinawa, a lot of rain falling there because of the frontal boundary that is located across the pacific ocean into china. so it looks like that more rain is expected. this frontal system is slowly sliding toward the north. so beijing and shanghai also getting in on the action. but it looks like southern china, more rain, more flooding rains will continue as we go throughout the next few days. i want to draw your attention to a low pressure system down toward the philippines. this developed, and it's something that we'll be watching out for. regardless of whether it actually becomes tropical, it is going to bring a large amount of rain on top of the fact it's already a monsoonal period. and so expecting rainfall totals as much as 100 millimeters as we go throughout the next 72 hours. let's take a look at the americas where we are seeing some activity over the eastern half of the united states and into the southern portions of quebec. there is a history with this low pressure system over the ohio river valley produci
