kriti: kailey leinz doing some real reporting in philadelphia. we thank you on the eve of this crucial election. the midterms, less than 24 hours away. let's discuss voter turnout and bring in the director of economic policy. henrietta, always a pleasure to have you on the show. we were talking about some of the issues at the heart of this particular midterm race. what is the game changer for you? >> thanks so much for having me. i'm really happy to be here. i think the game changer is something we can already factor in and speak to. we publish for our clients on a constant basis. ohio would be a good example. they don't have a ton of data and they get massive revisions by an estate like pennsylvania, democrats have run up such an incredible lead in early voting as have so many other states shown tremendous early voting. georgia breaking records even versus 2018. we can surmise a lot of data from the early voting that we have seen so far. one of the core components that i think is most interesting is nevada. that is a race that we have long antic

bloomberg's kailey leinz reports. >> our regulators and frankly our congress is one hour late and a dollarneed to catch up with where these cryptocurrencies are going. kailey: congress has been calling for greater regulation of crypto for years, but it has been a lot of talk and to this point, not a lot of walk. >> we have the intention of just not quite getting over the line. kailey: the crypto industry has been asking congress to help create the rules of the road. but optimism has faded. >> there was hope that this was actually going to happen this year, that he bunch of bills that had been proposed were promising, that we could see movement on capitol hill. but just like pretty much everything in washington heading towards the end up 2022, it all seems kind of stuck. kailey: the bills that have gained the most traction include regulation to -- but success on those initiatives will have to wait until after the midterms. >> i think both kiersten and i believe that the bill in one piece, as a total bill, is more likely to be deferred until next year. it is a big topic. it is comprehensive.

kailey leinz joining us. let's go to phoenix, arizona.ate and gubernatorial races still too close to call. ed ludlow standing by for us. ed: around two thirds of the votes counted here in phoenix, arizona. a tight race for the senate with mark kelly leading republican blake masters by around five percentage points. much tighter when it comes to the race for governor. kari lake has really clawed back the lead the democrat katie hobbs held overnight. we are now down to just around 11,000 votes, 0.7% separating the two. in the state of arizona that if the margin between two candidates is within or add 0.5% it is grounds for recount. this was ground zero for trump and more conservative factions of the gop's efforts to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election, overnight kari lake made unfounded and unproven claims that issues we've seen with the tabulator's here in arizona constituted election fraud. those are not proven or based in fact. and the safeguards built into the tabulator's work there was an issue with the electronic rea

joining us now, kailey leinz along with sonali. you have a crypto show later. w will we know who gets money and who gets paid? kailey: a lot of questions we have because there is not as much information in this bankruptcy as we usually have. there is a freefall but not accurate accounting and not tracking down when assets there are to return. what we heard time and again until silence on twitter six days ago, he wants to make customers hold first. that was his primary objective. we know from the firings, 50 creditors are owed $3 billion so there are a lot of questions here. guy: is the company and our crypto companies -- is that why we are struggling here? we have a huge gap until the first bankruptcy filing is taking place in delaware. i am wondering why it is so hard to come by the information we need. sonali: i am wondering why customers did not ask more questions when they put their money into these funds. crypto companies are either regulated in the u.s., have subsets of disclosure when it comes to the sec, the treasury department in some cases as well. but
