guy: ed, kailey leinz is looking at buying an f150. she's interested in the lightning.t cut prices. i'm wondering if it's because they're not cool anymore? do people want not them? is it because the margins are so high? kailey: i still think they're cool, for the record. ed: it's a great time with these price cuts. one model is cut by up to 17%. we would caution the pro is a model that's directed at fleets and commercial use. but the xlt dropped from $64,000 to $54.995. and i don't know if that's in frewer price range, but what ford is saying, improved capacity, they're able to build more of them at higher volume, and also improve the cost of materials. that's really interesting in the context of inflation. stock down more than 4% though. kailey: yeah, well, maybe not good news for shareholders of ford, but it is, to ed's pointed, seems like a better time to buy. i have been looking at this since they announced this truck was coming out, because i love trucks. my dad drives a truck. my father-in-law drives a truck. i enjoy driving their trucks. i want one for myself. i
