family and friends mourning kaiser willis. the 7-year-old is being drowned at carson beach. he was under the watch of a city camp program. >> reporter: a very somber day in mattapan where the funeral service will be coming to an end and family and friends will head to mount hope cemetery. his mother was overcome by grief as the funeral services be friends and family mourning the loss of a little boy whose death last week is impossible to understand. police say kaiser disappeared about 2:15 in the afternoon. about five hours later his body was found off carson beach. it was ruled an accidental drowning. mayor marty walsh who attended the funeral has put new safety on in the positive changes. >> it's a tragedy that the situation happened. but what we have to remember through all of this is that kaiser -- at the young age that he is -- is actually saving lives today. he's saving other children's lives. >> reporter: you are now taking a live lo here in mattapan as family and friends say goodbye to this beloved 7-year-old boy. the family is accepting donations in lou of flowers.
