abc 7 news reporter wayne freedman is in kansas city with a look at an unusual sight at the royals ballpark. wayne? >> reporter: you have to look hard. this is sort of in the middle of nowhere, on the very edge of kansas city. it's just a ballpark and a few shopping malls around here, football stadium over there on the side. as we noted last night, it took 29 years for the royals to get a world series back in town and it took the giants just a little more than 29 seconds to take the wind out of their sails. the royals say they need a little bit of luck and are looking for it in some odd and unusual places. they did more than a little washing down inside kauffman stadium this morning. it seemed inevitable and advisable for the royals after last night's drubbing by the giants. >> they're in it every other year now. >> reporter: you accept that? >> yeah, long as you don't win it this time. >> reporter: that would be a typical response in this cordial city with strange signs of a sense of his ttory. the royals remain proud of their team and park. >> every seat faces second base. >> reporter: th
