today, i spoke with two property managers of this apartment building on the 400 block of kaplan street southeast, owned by crawford edgewood managers. both men claim they were only aware of this issue a few days and that this radiator problem impacts seven units in the building. they say residents were provided electric space heaters because of the problem, but residents i spoke with say that's not good enough. that they don't generate enough heat especially in this cold weather so they've gotten their own space heaters and ashley prince and her family in the unit that we visited are even using their oven to warm up their apartment which is very very dangerous and they understand that. but after our "7 on your side" report at 11:00 last night, finally we're seeing some progress. repairmen were here earlier today inspecting those radiators. >> you weren't aware of any heat issues in these seven units until this week? >> basically, no. >> when residents say they've been having issues with their heat for years, that's a surprise to you? >> yeah! >> i just want to say thank you for taking
