it was quite an interesting interview that she did with walt mossberg and kara swisher of recode. i was clear from watching her in that interview that she has spent hours and hours and hours poring through data and information and analyses to try to understand why she lost. i mean, i thought one of the more telling statements she had, and i think i'm paraphrasing here, was something to the effect of i take responsibility for every decision i made, but that wasn't why i lost. and she has found a variety of reasons other than her own skills as a candidate, the way she ran the campaign or her campaign's performance to conclude these are the reasons she lost, not any of those. now, she is rightly concerned, as everyone is, about the role of the russians and what happened in the election and whether the russians will try to do that in future elections and the degree to which the sanctity of the vote here or the sanctity of the way we operate a democracy is at risk because of what now can be done through social media and through hacking and all sorts of nefarious ways, and she is quite
