chief probation officer karen fletcher here for questions. district attorney george gascon, whose staff i know is also here today. to the fines and fees task force who pushed for a number of recommendations for this reform, thank you. and to debt-free s.f., the community coalition that's been pushing for this type of reform for years. i also want to acknowledge the people in the room today, i know there are a number of folks who have come out from the western edition community. people who have had to grapple with these issues themselves. i know many truly understand the impacts this could have on families and communities as i stated previously and i appreciate everyone who is here to provide feedback for this particular issue. lastly to the members of the rules committee, i understand there must be a robust conversation around the fiscal impact of this legislation. for the debate today, my hope is we discuss the merits of the legislation as it relates to changes of the admin code as that is what is important to this particular committee. the
