karen hepp is in the news room with the very latest on the homicide investigation what do we know thatd. >> reporter: one of the more horrific crimes. is there a reward of five you this dollars for information that lead to the arrest and conviction of her killer. so there was an autopsy that revealed this woman, bright, vibrant, she had a great job, she died a horrific death, apar. blunt force trauma to her head and neck but that doesn't tell half of it. she was beaten, she for the back. the scene was absolutely awful police called it sadistic violence. they found her naked in the bathtub who had been scolded, shower running and terrible, who are are word and language on the horrific crime. her family is heart broken. her sister remembers her as a vibrant woman who had everything her. >> at 36, had accomplished more than mess and had ahead of. so to lose her in this way, so senselessly, so violently,reall. broken us as a family. >> they are a great family. she was youngest of a number of sisters, they traveled. they were about to go away for mothers day weekend. they are heart broken.

our karen hepp at mount carmel cemetery this morning. karen. >> reporter: that work is beginning right now, as we come out to the cemetery, mount carmel cemetery we can see some grave stones and headstones are toppled over still. today is day they will rectify this. it is a multi step process. they need to repair, prep and then set them properly. we can see in the distance a crane, not as foggy as sue has been talking about in the background and some men wearing orange reflective gear these are experts in doing the grave restoration. goal here, to train people who volunteered to help from the trade that are experts in these fields in order to do this correctly. they will train them how to do it and work will begin in ernest at cemetery. we had 100 grave stones toppled over. police have not determined what kind of vandalism this was but this was one of our most historic cemeteries in this area they are also going to take it a step further. they want to fix historic grave stones inside but they want to prevent this from happening again. so,

our karen hepp in the news room with how the dramatic scene unfolded. karen?ally concerned, because there was near mix, woman trying to get into her car someone shot up her vehicle. so at one point the investigators were looking neighbor was snipe their was out there taking aim, possibly from a tall building. this is an apartment building under construction, it is empty right now, but they think maybe someone had been in time inside, because they did find some bullet marks up there. police think the shots could have been fired there from a fifth floor window across spring garden street. into the lot, you can see it there, delila's gentleman's club. we know those shots hit a white chevy pick-up truck, and a jeep parked right nearby, woman that was walking out about to get in the car when this happened. >> at this point we do not know if she was the intended target of the shooting. >> again, just scary, and you just want to go home as quickly as you can. >> it was very scary. so, she was not injured. wasn't struck by the gunfire there. the car was. it was towed

karen hepp in the news room with this one, karen? >> so it is a big clean up time, whether you're dealing with the snow or trying to deal with some of the damage that happened because a lot of the flooding down the shore because they got all of the rain. let's take a look, they had the high tides right there. this is what happens whenever we have a kind of storm like there is all the sudden ten looks like there are rivers instead of streets there is was sea isle area, somers point, lot of flooding right up to the houses now people who live down there, certainly used to it, you know, all the sudden mother nature comes along with big storm, rims up the whole beaches there. steels all of the sands, washes it down, that's what happened here. this is one of the scenes. so then they have the beach replentishment project, busy working on, that that's this is what the beach looks like there, still have to fix it up. avalon had to shut down $9 million beach replentishment project a week after it start but i'm sure they'll be right back at it.

millennials, they actually make up large percent and of people getting this disease, karen hepp?o surprising about this, number rising in the group of 20 year old, rates of these specific cancers has been on the decline for older individuals, the amount of young people getting colon and rectal cancers is on the rise. the american cancer society says people born in 1990 or later have seen double the risk of colon cancer and four times the risk for rectal cancer. doctors really don't know why there has been this spike, normally, people thal are 50 and over, who are at highest risk, they think maybe to look at this it is the lack of exercise, in a diet rich in fats and sugars, that could be playing a role. but that's really surprising when you have 20 year old, becoming, you know, at graters risk for this. >> that is surprising. interesting. >> yes. >> we need to talk to doctor mike about that. karen, thank you. newspaper report is exposing the truth about subways chicken. >> say it ain't soap. the results well leaving bad taste in customer's mouths. so here is the investigation. >>
