and look, karen notes about the republicans that are concerned about what cuts might be coming. they're hearing from people in their home districts. this is obviously on the hill. they're trying to now figure out what they're going to do with this, this budget bill and how that's all going to get situated. i want to play a clip about a reporter asking trump about medicare, medicaid and social security. this is what he said. >> the spending bill that passed last night aims to cut $2 trillion. can you guarantee that medicare, medicaid, social security will not be touched? >> yeah. i mean, i have said it so many times. you shouldn't be asking me that question. we're not going to touch it. >> and isaac, they keep saying that. but now we're even hearing from senate republicans who have had to say out loud people like josh hawley, who aren't necessarily kind of more moderate republicans say, i won't, i won't touch anything that has medicaid cuts in it. um, because when you look at the number they're trying to get to, it's hard to do that without touching these. >> yeah. and that's the reality of all these doge cuts is that it's little trims around the edges. yeah. w

hill is, quote, tackling product and distribution issues head on. jefferies new $115 price target implies 43% upside from today's close. karenknow we've talked about this one before, and i feel like the thesis all around was it's more of an investment, less of a trade. what do you make of jefferies call here? >> well, one of the things was interesting about the call. so 115 was the target. the high side was 140. the low side they thought was 70. so as an asymmetric risk reward. that's interesting. and the basis of the call was okay. yeah. they definitely had some missteps. the getting on the right track now you know they are going back to focusing on wholesale back to focusing on product. also, if you look at on that stock has gotten crushed in the last short while. they i think have are in a much more difficult position. clearly they've taken share. but china tariff situation is much more difficult for on than i think it is for nike. so this could i mean i'm long i'm long from higher, which is sort of irrelevant at this point. what the question is when out this price, what do you do. stay long? i do think that a little bit

. >> karen, do you see democrats doing can they do anything to stop this in an effective way? have you have you seen any sort of response from capitol hill or from the governors or from anyone that you think is effective? >> well, look, the attorneys general, they were prepared immediately, frankly, around birthright citizenship. they're the ones who have been bringing i mean, there are a number of lawsuits. i do think some of the outside groups, like democracy forward! look, this is a whole of conservative movement approach. this is project 2025 being implemented. and so what i've been saying to democrats and progressives is everybody's got to get around the table and work on this together. there's got to be a legal strategy. there's got to be a policy strategy. because i agree completely with what's happening is we're throwing out the baby with the bathwater. and at some point there will be implications. you cannot get rid of the whole cia and think that something terrible might not happen. >> last word. no. >> listen, you definitely have to keep the cia. but there's there's no doubt that the administrative needs to be cut. it grew sig
