karen morfitt of our denver station kcnc reports. >> reporter: this is all that remains of the charrede wreckage. >> it hit the runway, bust into flames and skidded a certain business. >> reporter: the twin engine business jet was on its way from aspen to tucson, arizona, when something went terribly wrong and crashed onto the runway. >> the plane had caught fire and flipped over on its top. >> reporter: a flight tracker shows the pilot may have made a few passes around the airport before trying to land. the national transportation safety board is investigating the accident, but reports are that the wind may have played a factor. >> well, it was cold and breezy today, but we can't speculate as to whether or not that had anything to do with the cause. it was a very breezy cold kind of a powder day. snowing off and on. >> reporter: all three on board the plane were pilots. the one who died was from mexico. until the wreckage is cleared, the airport will remain closed. for cbs news, karen morfitt in aspen. >>> in new york city an emergency landing is being called a miracle. the small plan
