here's karen rogers, hi, karen. >> reporter: yeah, we're experiencing fog and other problems, as well. look at this, we have a vehicle fire you can see the flames shooting up, i-95 off-ramp to philadelphia international airport. a fully engulfed fire, flames shooting up live blocking the ramp from i-95 southbound to philadelphia international airport. so watch for that. here's a live will care at the fog on the noon turnpike at the delaware memorial bridge, you see the reduced visibility especially in philadelphia and areas south of that area and within that area where we have the dense fog and dense fog advisory we have an accident that brought down wires and pole. it's out here on the black blace pike at doughty road. we have crews trying to fix it right now. fog reduced visibility to less than a mile in philadelphia. half mile in millville. .8 in atlantic city. .8 in toms river and one mile in trenton. fog is a bigger deal when you're traveling in philadelphia and areas south. so we've got fog in philadelphia and areas south, that's particularly dense and rain to the northwest. eve

dave murphy and karen rogers have updates from accuweather. matt pelman is watching the roads. let's start with david. >> okay, well, let's start with warnings and watches that we have across the region. it's still a blizzard warning in the northern suburbs and this is going to be the biggest impact area for this storm where you're going to have heavy bands of snow especially between now and 11 o'clock to noon then things should begin to lighten up a little bit and you won't have as much accumulation but between now and midday that's a real problem. the i-95 corridor is also in a winter storm warning all of this going until about 6 o'clock tonight but things are improving a little bit here in the i-95 corridor and that rain is really pushing up close to us, sleet mixing in and it may wind up that we get less snow in there than anticipated. farther south it's an advisory. there's so much rain down there that most of what has already fallen has been washed away and may not be coming back. right now we do see that sleet line right through the i-95 corridor. a lot of rain down sout

. >> david murphy is off, karen rogers is here with the track of the storm. >> reporter: we have a winter storm warning that goes into effect at 8:00 p.m. tonight and lasts through tuesday, the first snowflakes falling around midnight tonight. you see how widespread the warning area is at this point. they have extended it through hammonton, millville and atlantic city. that winter storm warning goes into effect tonight. let's look at the temperatures. it is cold out there, we have the arctic air moved in friday into saturday, the storm set up begins with the colder road surfaces, colder ground surfaces, that is significant. 16, 19, allentown, reading, 17 in millville. satellite and radar showing we'll see lots of sunshine, fading behind clouds. it's a sun to clouds day, high of 36. colder winds switch to the east, 6 to 12 miles per hour. here's what to expect with the storm, heavy wet snow we could see limbs down and power outages, and strong accumulations across the i-95 corridor and north and west where you could see over a foot of snow. strong winds coastal flooding a possibility, too.

. >> meteorologist, karen rogers, is in for david murphy outdoors with the outlook from accuweather. karen, sunny but very cold. >> it is cold but at least we have the sunshine, we have that going for us today. it's nice and bright and as i look at snow i see hints of puddles near them and slow to melt and the sun is trying to do its job. and the numbers through the area, satellite 6 along with action radar showing us we have clear skies all morning and bright sunshine and the beauti we see clouds trying to fill in from the north and west. we see sun mixing with clouds here and there, and it's a pretty afternoon, it's cold in the lehigh valley and below freezing and 30 degrees and 37 in coatesville. in kennett square and 36 in saint davids and 33 in levittown, and 34 degrees in center city. how about the suburbs in knowledge in browns mills and glassboro and 35 in woodbine and 35 on the boardwalk in a.c. and the winds are a real issue gusting 35 miles per hour. right now through philadelphia and through the area we are looking at wind gusts, 25 to 35 miles per hour around the region.

it's really slippery out there right now. >> karen rogers and matt pelman joining us. s the time where it's really going to be the worst for most people, karen. >> yeah, from now until about lunchtime is the height of the storm. so, the strongest winds, the heaviest precipitation and we really have to keep an eye on that sleet line. we're getting sleet mixing with the snow right here where i'm standing and on storm tracker6 live radar you can see how we have that rain in south jersey and delaware and you see thatter a of blue, that mixing that's the line we have to watch because if we continue to have a long period of mixing in philadelphia, it will start to cut down those numbers but it is all snow north and west. so really a range and because of that in the northwest suburbs look at this, visibility already an issue. half a mile when you're traveling there. so, this is the interesting thing about this storm. such a sharp cutoff. a foot difference in precipitation over a 45-mile period from roxborough to millville so it really is location, location, location. so, today

. >> we're getting one more day of spring this week, let's go over to david murphy an karen rogers. >> reporter: looks like a beautiful today, tonight things change in a hurry. in the northern suburbs up to the poconos there's a winter weather advisory that kicks in at midnight. it doesn't move in until noon tomorrow, we'll have rain change over to snow. we'll have wet snow in philadelphia and down by the shore at some point. surface temperatures will be warm, it won't be a major impact on roads. slippery conditions possible in northern bucks county and north of there. satellite and radar shows you nothing going on, there's cloud cover to the south, we expect sun to start out. looks like we'll stay fairly bright today. 53 degrees currently, too, it's not that chilly out there. jacket weather, but not too bad. a little bit of a breeze at 16 miles per hour currently. 49 degrees by 7:00 a.m. shooting up to 58 by noon. we expect a high of 61 degrees by 3:00 p.m. holding 51 by 7378. from there the temperatures drop as that precipitation comes through we'll see wet snow and slippery conditi

karen rogers what you got on the roads early. >> reporter: we have the warning, the express e-z pass lanes are closing for three weeks starting today at the mid county tolls. if you use them expect delays along 476 and the turnpike, express e-z pass lanes closing. we have construction on the schuylkill expressway eastbound at gulph mills we can see it blocking a lane. we have crews on the scene, it is early yet traffic blocking one lane, it could be out there until 6:00 a.m. you'll see delays with the construction at gulph mills. overnight, jfk boulevard and 20th construction street stick to market treat. >> cell phone video captured a huge brawl at a septa station in center city. investigators are trying to track down those who took part in the beating. jeanette reyes filed this report from septa headquarters. >> reporter: this morning, disturbing cell phone video of a brawl that erupted at the race vine street station on thursday. the video taken by a bystander shows one of the victims crouched on ground and covering his head as multiple juveniles kick and stomp on him. here you se

meteorologist karen rogers has the latest on that. >> reporter: it would be easy to focus on the snow because we've been snow starved this season. this is a nor'easter, the impact along the coast will be powerful. a coastal flood warning from 7:00 a.m. to #3:00 p.m. tomorrow. we'll see wave heights 10 to 15 feet. we had a full mean yesterday and you'll be running higher that will impact us. let's see the effects at the shore. we'll start out with snow and turning into heavy rain. moderate coastal flooding expected and beach erosion. even though we're talking about the heavy snow north and west, this is a big deal along the coast with the heavy wind, the rain, the coastal flooding and beach erosion. here's what to expect as you look forward right now. expected wind gusts up to 55 miles per hour. even in philadelphia, 40 to 45-mile an hour wind gusts tonight and tomorrow. 30 to 40-mile an hour wind gusts with the heavy snow in the lehigh valley. overall this is the timing of this late tonight you start to see the first flakes fly. southwest of the city, 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m. you see tha

karen rogers is in for david murphy with a check of the forecast. >> reporter: that is right, how about those winds? we saw them in lancaster, a gust at 64 miles per hour. and lakehurst 54 and northeast philadelphia 53 and doyles down and trenton 49. it's uniform throughout the area. the high wind advisory and warning have all expired and the winds are trying to start to relax at 38 miles per hour currently in philadelphia. 39 in wilmington and 38 in trenton and 32 in cape may and 32 in read i think at ts point for the hours we could see gusty winds but not quite as bad as earlier but the winds will continue to relatch. and the strong winds and the dry conditions creating a elevated fire danger. it's not the criteria of a red flag warning. the gusty breeze, the low humidity and dry forest in the afte the relative humidity will drop below 30%, that is a concern for fire that should spark this afternoon. this i what to expect. it's cold tonight and friday we are talking some snow showers coming our way. and then mild again next week. we have a lot going on with the forecast. first you see
