lake was trouncing karen taylor robson. that vaulted carrie lake somewhere around 4:00 p.m. east coast time into the lead over taylor robson. you see the margin at over 10,000 votes. if you were watching late last night east coast time in the 11:00 p.m. midnight hour, we got a huge initial batch of votes, like 60% of all the vote in arizona. it put taylor robson ahead of lake by about ten points. the sequence in arizona is a three phase process for reporting out the vote. that big batch last night were all the early votes that arrived at election offices by monday. that's always what gets reported out first. we expected that would be the best vote for taylor robson. this was a trend we saw in arizona in 2020 and it's a trend we see in every other state really, same day election day voters are very, very trump friendly. so the trump aligned candidate in this race absolutely cleaned up in that same day election vote. in those overnight hours, lake moved ahead of robson. the third phase of the vote count in arizona is what we're going to find out about today. that is ballots dro

what you see here is the karen taylor robson as a lead of eight points here statewide over kari lake. if you were watching an hour ago that was closer to ten points. so what's basically happens in arizona there are three phases to this vote. first, the county's report out, this is what happened in the 11 pm east our. all the votes they receive basically through yesterday. votes cast weeks ago. it was expected that big bucket of votes would be robson's best bucket of votes and will give her some lead and it did. then the question would be the next two buckets of votes. could she withstand what was in them. we are now in the second bucket of votes. we may see these numbers change as we talk. people went and cast ballots in person today. that's expected to be a very strongly pro lake vote and that is what we are seeing. we are seeing these small batches come in in different counties and lake is winning them by 30 40 points margins like that. so the votes coming in the next few hours could draw lake closer. the third bucket which is the giant x-factor, people who dropped off their ballots
