karen walker is republican strategist and founder of black conservatives for truth. she joins us now live from atlanta. georgia could tell you the sir car, what did you make of what the president had to say earlier? i think be the need for the voting rights bill. whereas i do agree with voting rights, obviously, i think it's been highly politicized. i think it's largely done to get rid of the filibuster beneath the voting rights. still, i really think should be left up to the state as a republican, when we do not support the voting rights go, if not, because we don't support voting rights, we absolutely support it. we believe that it is best for the state decide what is best for our individual stage. what happens is if the filibuster is eliminated, which they don't have the vote to do so right now, then any party there in power can change the bills for the entire country were just a simple with just a simple majority. but i don't think that's right for you say that it should be decided by the states. but here we have the republican run states currently redrawing voti
