thanks, kari. both sides in the new haven unified teachers strike are expected back at the bargaining table. this is in the next few hours. nbc bay area's bob redell live for us outside of logan high school in union city. this will be the first time that both sides have negotiated since those talks broke down last sunday. >> reporter: correct, marcus. the new haven unified school district tells us this morning the subcommittees for both bargaining teams are meeting this sxhorng there will be a bargaining session later this afternoon. the president of the union that represents the striking teachers outside logan high here in union city, they suggest negotiation sessions this weekend to come to a tentative deal this sunday night but the president expressed doubt the district would could commit to that over the holiday weekend. a teacher here at logan who's not on the negotiating team tells me he doesn't feel the district is bargaining in good faith and he doesn't feel valued as an educator. there are
