want to turn things over now to meteorologist kari hall. so, kari, what does this mean for anyone near the coast? yeah. you do want to stay well away from the water. and as we saw there, just even being on the rocks can be very dangerous as some of the waves come up a lot higher. that's the risk here. and you don't really see it coming. some of those breakers today may still top 20ft. and we're still looking at some of the waves this morning at about 10 to 14ft. as we get this day started, along with the big waves that we've seen coming in, we've also had much cooler temperatures and some high wind gusts. a live look towards san francisco this morning. we're starting out with upper 40s, only making it into the upper 50s today. but with this storm off the coast, that's going to potentially create some more turbulent conditions along the coastline and also keep the cool weather here in the bay area. we'll talk about when this brings rain coming up in a few minutes. mike's been tracking where we can find slightly lower gas prices. i found our b

want to get to meteorologist kari hall here? i know you've been monitoring all that, kari. so what does this mean for anyone living near the coast or just near it in general? you just have to be so careful and never turn your back to the water. you want to stay well away from the water. when we have waves this dangerous and turbulent, some of those breakers could top 20ft today. as of right now, they're at about 10 to 13ft, a little bit higher near santa cruz. but we are seeing all of this because of the very active storm pattern that we've seen over the weekend. we had those high winds and those waves driven up near the coastline. there is another that's off the coast that will be coming in and creating those big waves for later today. as far as rain, we're dry today, but then start to see the spotty showers starting to pop up tomorrow. we'll be timing that out and talk about how much rain you can expect coming up in just a few minutes. mike's been looking around to try to save us some money at the gas pump, trying to point you to the best deals, the best we have in contra
