john kasich, not too many people in the country know him.e has a better chance of being a top-tier then christie. mark: i think both of these guys have more potential than almost anybody else in the field. while they both will raise money, they both get attention. christie had a good two days up here. john kasich is much closer to running than people realize. when he gets in the race, it will have a huge impact regardless of the fact that people do not know him. this is a guy who will change the dynamics of the race. a lot of establishment types will look to john kasich if they don't like jeb bush. john: christie is too damaged. the new jersey economy is too bad. they will look at case it. -- at john kasich. moving along. the poll covers more than politics. we asked what people thought about america's national pastime is. baseball or football? it looks like it is lights out for the grand old game. two thirds say football is now the national pastime. we previously asked the question , would you want your child to play bass -- football? half s

john: your friend john kasich gave a wide-ranging talk.e said one thing i want to get your response to. he said, "wall street is overwhelmingly too greedy." do you agree with him? reince: i don't know. i didn't hear the comments. mark: i know you didn't hear it. that's why i ready to you. reince: i would make -- not make a blanket comment like that. i would never make a judgment on an entire community and business. i wasn't a part of these comments. so i am just listening to you and reacting. so i don't know what the context , was or what was said. i'm sorry, but i'm doing my best to respond. john: mr. chairman we were talking earlier about the white house correspondents dinner being here tomorrow. there are a lot of republican presidential candidates that will not be here because they are down in florida. people are seeing sheldon adelson out in las vegas the faith and freedom conference. a lot of them are out in other places. can you talk about the importance of those events which of those strike you as being particularly consequential?

i think kasich is one of the most interesting fellows coming out of this weekend.r reference to what hillary clinton talks about, about mental health and drug addiction, he talks about those things too. he talks about them in a very human, personal way. i think he expands the dialogue. he'd make a great ed toigs this field -- edition to this field. mark: another takeaway is that hillary clinton is serving to unite the republican field. let's listen to lindsey graham on that. >> at the edge of the day, folks, the republican party's got a chance of a lifetime. if she wins, when are we ever going to win again? if it's not me, for god sake, pick somebody who can win. mark: while there's some republicans who think she'll be easy to beat most people up in new hampshire i talked to think she'll be formidable as a fundraiser and because the electoral college. dus doesn't that help people who can make an electability argument more like a bush or kasich than it does somebody like a cruz? guest: i think you're exactly right. i call in the game of 270. somebody's going to have

governor kasich: we will look at other parts of the country. it is not acceptable because our friends in the african-american community, it is not accessible to have a gap. we will bridge this gap, and it will take everyone to participate in this. we do not want to have people in the streets earning buildings, hating one another. we have to do this. it has to work, and it will work. mark: senator ted cruz spoke out a little while ago and laid some of the blame on president obama. he said president obama has divided us and enflamed race relations. john, reactions from the potential 2016ers, and if you look at the range of the people we just talked about, who is handling it well, and who is not handling it well? john: well, john kasich, that is a very good speech on his part. we have known he has done a lot to increase the support in ohio. clearly emotional and very strong comments. he is going to have to look hard at the cleveland police department if he wants to be serious about this, and i think the worst of this is rand paul who i know has sa

kasich: i am all for it. i am concerned about privacy. not just from the government, but it seems like if we go to the grocery store they know what i'll we are walking down. i have friends in the software business and i told them one of the keys were all of us is the great invention would be one that protects my privacy in light of all these electronic devices and all this digital work that goes on in this country. in terms of the federal government, at the end of the day, we need to make sure that we have courts that are in a position to protect us when government wants to come and come into our lives. but there has to be a balance on privacy against security. because we cannot have lone wolves in this country like we have seen in europe who are intent on coming in and destroying our people. but fundamentally we are free , and we need to be free and privacy is an integral part of it. i don't know what else i can say. but we can talk and i'm with you and if you have any software, i will buy it from you. >> governor, we have the last quest
