i asked ceo kasper rorsted why the u.s.for the company. >> the underlying economy in north america is better than the one is n europe. we're still market share catch up we still really need to expand our market share in europe you have a slower economy although brexit is not helping and i don't think we acted quickly enough to changes in europe as we did in the u.s but overall it's been a great -- it's a great year so far. >> you have to operate in all sorts of political environments. we're digesting the results of last night's midterm elections talk about how it is to operate in the u.s. political environment. >> i think we need to be a bit humble as a company. we sell t-shirts and sneakers and -- albeit very good sneakers so tax reform has helped us because the consumer has more money but the overall politics has very little influence on a sporting goods brand because in ways we are politically irrelevant so the market conditions haven't really changed if they've changed it's correlated to how much the consumer has in his

joining us from germany is the ceo, kasper rorsted.ive us more on the message you are trying to put across today with your guidance. you are guiding higher on full-year revenue -- the revenue, not so. how positive is the message you want to get across? kasper: we are coming out in the first nine months with or than 9% growth, higher than the markets. we are growing market share and have strong growth in china with 26%. north america with 18% and online with 76%. drivers for us, china, online, and north america continues to be strong. europe is sluggish in an economy impacted by brexit and the brexit is probably the most unwise business decision taken for decades. overall for adidas, a strong quarter and a strong year 2018. for a company -- for the company and investors. anna: let me unpack what you said about europe. when are we going to see a return to growth in western europe? what kind of time horizon have you got for that? kasper: we expect to return to growth in western europe in the next year. we have seen a slowdown after the fi
