kate kelly is the founder of ordain women. months her church leaders have been urging her to stop fighting. sunday, they decided to cast her from the church all together and a letter her bishop wrote you should be excommunicated from the conduct contrary to the laws in order of the church. you have persisted in an aggress ieffort to persuade other church members to your point of view and your course of action threatened to erode the faith of others. kate kelly joins me live. why is it important for you and other women to be ordained? >> it's important that women are ordained in our church because the entire leadership structure of the church reinvolves having the priesthood. in our church, the women are not given any leadership opportunities over congregations or in the leadership of the church based on their gender. >> somehow the excommunication? how has it affected you? >> it's hard to express the sorrow that i feel. it is as if i were being forcibly evicted from my spirit yule ho spiritual home. >> your dad said you have n

kate kelly is at the summit here in new york with those details. kate?> reporter: scott, thanks so much. aubrey mcclendon has been gregarious, core yal and he was today but he had a more reserved tone. speaking on a panel at this summit on the subject of regulation, he talked about a number of issues and kind of said that natural gas had been through some growing pains in the last ten years particularly. he said that the industry has tightened up our game after running into some issues, including a case in point, water flaring and other problems with the marcellus shale formation in pennsylvania, caused at least in part, and this was highly controversial at the time but by chesapeake drilling back in 2011. he says his old company had, quote, mechanical integrity issues. although progress has been made since then, he said two big issues remain for gas drillers. one is called fugitive emissions, escaped emissions of methane and other properties when drilling occurs, and the other is flaring. still, without mentioning his new company, american energy partne

kate kelly has more. kate, you spoke with david terp. what did he say? >> i did, scott. he stopped short of saying i'm no longer nervous, but that was certainly the indication. he basically said back in may when he spoke at the las vegas hedge fund conference that you and i were both at, he made a list of things, macroeconomically, that were concerning. ecb was top of the list. i remember him saying at the time, look, they need to ease in june, which of course is today now, but he wasn't even sure at the time that would be enough to alleviate some of his and other people's concerns about the markets, but it might be too lilt, too late. however, he indicated he was pleased by what he saw today, saying if you looked at the ecb and their actions today, not just rates but other step, chinese stimulative policy we've seen unfolding in recent weeks, instability in ukraine starting to settle down a little bit, and the u.s. growth picture improving slightly since he spoke, he said the bottom line is all of those things alleviated one by one by one to a certain extent. so, you kn

kate kelly had formed a group that urged church leaders to ordain women. she called today's decision, "exceptionally painful." the church had no comment. today, a report found that politics played no part in the sex abuse investigation of penn state football assistant coach jerry sandusky. that investigation was led by the state's attorney general tom corbett who was running for governor. the report did fault police and prosecutors for "inexplicable delays in the investigation." an accusation that they dispute. jerry sandusky was convicted in 2012 of sexually abusing ten boys. he'll likely spend the rest of his life in prison. a group of new jersey fishermen had a close encounter with a great white shark. it happened off cape may. the shark measuring 16-feet showed its sharp teeth when it ripped a basket of bait from the vessel. it also tried to take a bite out of the boat but no one was hurt. folks travel from all over to share their secrets in this mailbox. that's next. she keeps you on your toes. you wouldn't have it any other way. but your erectile dys

kate kelly's got this story. >> there was, melissa. it was a packed courtroom in downtown manhattan, by the way, where hedge funds went to hear the latest fuse from a judge on whether he would respond to talk from argentina to holders of billions of dollars in these bonds, suggesting they might not face out. a u.s. supreme court ruling would help it pay to elliot management and likely billions more to other hedge fund holders. they described the investors as extrorgsists to whom they would to the bench today, however, argentina's lawyers took a different note, touching rather couching the speeches as political and intended to address the broad question of how the country would face mounting bond payouts at its cash reserves, which football not even 30 billion could not accommodate. arlg argentina are willing to negotiate. the lawyer added that argentine officials would come to the u.s. next week to talk to the so-called holdouts. the judge was not easily play indicated. notably, it's refusal to comply with its own judgments, finding it
