it stars melissa mccarthy kristen wiig leslie jones and kate mckinnon. my favorite snl actress right now. the film is a reboot these are new characters and all-female led main cast. i love the idea because i think hollywood needs more female lead films. this is amazing they are doing this and he also it directed spy and bridesmaids. i want to make sure i point this out. the 3-d in this film is the best 3-d i've ever seen. it was not even shot in 3-d. what they did was they had black bars at the top and bottom of the screen and the 3- d goes over those bars when they're shooting the proton packs or someone is getting slimed those three elements are going over the black bar makes it more immersive and more fun. it stands on its own. i had a proton pack and i loved the first one a lot. classic cast pick this one stands on its own but the problem is sometimes they revert back to the original too much. there is some cameos i felt that disrupt the storyline. overall the movie does work it's very funny. chris hemsworth is one of the best parts of the film. kate
