my name is annie mah, and i am the legislative aide to supervisor katey tang. i'm here to share supervisor tang's support of self-help for the elderly. the project includes a conversion and modest expansion of a vacant single-family home which was generously donated to self-help for continuance services to the outer sunset community. supervisor tang has visited the seniors at the current location for many years now, and the clubhouse is filled with over 50 seniors each day who come and congregate with each other and spend a lot of time with each other over a hot meal. the social workers only have two workers to one desk at the end of the room, and this area is important because it allows seniors to get help with different things. the expansion will help the seniors get more services and the assistance that they need. it will allow them to benefit from the comprehensive social services provided by self-help, including the meals, education and wellness services and supportive services. i hope that you will join supervisor tang in supporting this project at 3133 ta

develop new, creative ways to provide housing, and that is supervisor from district four, supervisor katey tangand so she's going to say a few words at this time. >> supervisor tang: first of all, i want to thank mayor breed so much for lighting this fire around the issue of a.d.u.s. first of all, it's not enough to have it on the kbobooks tha say we can create a.d.u., we have to take action. i want to thank all the different city departments that are working together to make sure this happen. recently at the board of supervisors we passed a piece of legislation that i sponsored trying to remove the legislation around a.d.u.s. we did quite a few listening sessions and working tours to find out what are the challenges to building a.d.u.s. some of the things we found out were street requirements or bicycle parking. those are really important but we can't let those things stand in the way of creating more housing. i think in san francisco we really need a mixture of solutions for housing, right? there might be some neighborhoods where high-rise developments might be more appropriate, and there are

the rest room which received tremendous support from supervisor katey tang. i actually think that's an understatement. supervisor tang very much drove this initiative on behalf of her constituents, and the 45th avenue neighborhood association will now allow neighbors to stay longer and play longer at the playground, which is so named because of the park's feature, a metal dorry, otherwise known as a boat. the give way will include a ceremonial first flush, which you're all invited to participate in. and then, saturday, september 8, we want to invite everybody to golden gate park tennis center, where we will let the games begin. please come and join the tennis coalition, and rec and park celebrating the launch of the public phase of our campaign in the new golden gate tennis center. it includes a fun day of on court activities, games for kids, food trucks, a pickle ball demonstration, and a watch party for the u.s. open women's final. the event will help kick off the final set of fund raising to rhenvate the 124-year-old tennis facility which will also include
