[ laughter ] [ music playing ] >> katha pollitt, welcome. >> thank you so much for having me. >> so nice to have you here. so we are more than 40 years since roe versus wade, and you and i are of a generation where you might say we thought until recently this was settled policy and settled law. turns out to be something other than that. which is really the impetus, i suppose, for this book. you've got to reclaim something that's been unclaimed, right? >> yes. i wrote this book because i just, you know, you open up your newspaper -- >> yep
