katherine scott is live at porter street with the latest details. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, one man is in the hospital in stable condition. the man who fired the weapon the employee at the club has a license to carry he was speaking to detective's at the south division. it started after a group of men couldn't get into a private party at the lobster club an old mummers club founded in 1907. police say fivemen wanted to get into the club, but they were denied entry because it was a private event. the party ended an employee closed up and left and found the five men were waiting for him. >> they followed him home and they confronted him and he shot one of the males in the stomach. one shot was fired. >> reporter: and, again, that employee does have a license to carry, he remained on the scene and was taken to south detective's to be interviewed. police did recover his weapon there are surveillance cameras outside the club, but we haven't been told if there's any footage that can help in this investigation. katherine scot
