katherine scott is live on phil more street. >> reporter: the victim was a 30-year-old man shot while visiting a home in frankford. homicide detectives are investigating in the case. let's go to the video in frankford on the 1800 block of philmoore street. police say there were close to a dozen people inside the home when this happened around 10:30 including four children between the ages of 4 and 8. police say a man walked up opened the unlocked door and reached inside and fired three to five shots. one man was hit in the head. he collapsed on the living room floor and pronounced dead by medics a short time later. the suspect took off on foot running east on fill wearing a dark jacket with write writing on the front maybe a north face jacket. crime scene unit recovered two shell casing fired from a semi automatic gun. all the adults were taken in for questioning as witnesses. >>> we don't have a motive, but the intersection is known for street level narcotics valleys. so in addition to having numerous witnesses that were inside the house, we found numerous cameras right outside. >>>

they say that cosby was granted immunity from prosecution, katherine scott is outside in norristown with the latest. >> reporter: today the defense called their send witness, a long time cosby attorney, and his testimony when through the last hour and proceedings are still underway in the courthouse this noon. corporate lawyer, john schmidt who represented cosby for decades on a variety of legal matters. he became of wear of the andrea constand allegations. and took over on phillip's behalf who died the previous year. it was resolved in february of that year when then district attorney, bruce caster found insufficient evidence to charge cosby with the crime. and that caster was not going to prosecute. he arrived at that understanding from a press release by caster saying he would not prosecute and through verbal assurances he got from caster, that is why he allowed cosby to give testimony that led to an undisclosed settlement. the district attorney kevin steele had them reed from the press release, that they would reconsider the matter should the case arise and that was in the context of

katherine scott is live at 30th street station with the full story, katherine? >> reporter: matt, nobody was hurt when the object struck the train that was passing through bridesburg. amtrak officials are trying to determine what the object was. this all comes as the national transportation safety board is set to release a large amount of data today that could shed light on what happened in the last year's fatal train derailment. let's look at the photos of the damage as the train was traveling through bridesburg. it happened at 7:00 p.m. on the acela train from washington to new york. amtrak is assessing what the object may be. last night's incident happened not too far away from where the fatal crash occurred last may. federal investigators are trying to determine when a projectile hit that train. officials said it was not rare in that area, but if it did, it is not clear if it was relevant to the crash. 8 people dialed and 200 injured. -- 8 people dialed and 200 injured. the train was traveling at twice the speed limit when it entered the curve at the bridesb
