"action news" reporter katherine scott is live on the seen with the full story. >> reporter: matt, there are three victims here. two of them were tied up, one of them stabbed. all of them were taken to the hospital. police do have one suspect in custody and they're searching for another and detectives still have this road closed off here in kensington as they continue to investigate. this happened around 2:30 this morning here on f street by allegheny. police say two masked men armed with a knife and a hammer went inside a home and woke up the three people inside. police say a 26-year-old woman was tied to a chair with a rope and electrical cord. police say she still had rope around her neck whe when they arrived. a 36-year-old man was tied to a bed, his wrists and ankles bounds with rope and electrical cord. a third woman in her 40's was taken to her car. police say the men forced her to drive to kensington and allegheny which is several blocks away and withdraw the $100 she had in her account. then they made her drive back to the home and that's when police say

katherine scott is live at the walmart at the philadelphia mills mall with surveillance pictures. katherine. >> reporter: police are hoping that someone recognizes the man in the surveillance pictures who police say stabbed a walmart cashier who was trying to stop the man from leaving with items he didn't pay for. there were customers going in and out of the mall. customers are allowed inside the store, the store is open right now. it is on the 4300 block of byberry road in northeast philadelphia. let's go to a picture of the suspect. there are surveillance cameras inside and outside of the store. this is the man police say tried to leave the walmart with a shopping cart and two boxes of boots and sony42-inch flat screen tv worth $400. he showed a receipt valued at ten dollars. when the suspect tried to leave with the television, the employee tried to grab the flat screen. they were struggling over it when the cashier told police, the suspect said let it go or i will kill you. police say he pulled a folding knife from his pocket and lunged toward the cashier trying to stab him in t

"action news" reporter katherine scott is live at the camden county prosecutor's office with this morning'sort. katherine. >> reporter: matt, today the investigation into this child's death continues and as investigators here at the camden county prosecutor's office do their jobs, family, friends and community members gathered last night to remember this little boy. friends and neighbors gathered in haddon township last night to remember three-year-old brendan creato, a little boy who loved cats and dogs, pirates and the hulk. >> he was going to be the hulk for halloween. he had his costume ready. he was a joy. >> reporter: creato's body was found yesterday about a half mile from his father's home in a wooded area of cooper river park. family friends say the child's parents amanda denoto and tj creato lived in separate homes. authorities say the child's grandmother dropped brendan off at his father's apartment around 9:30 monday night. he was reported missing by a family member the next morning at 6:00. among others, authorities have been questioning his father. family friends say despite a

katherine scott has more. >> reporter: the 35-year-old cashier is okay and he was treated on scene and he returned to work and now police are searching for the suspect and they have clear images of him thanks to surveillance cameras inside and outside of the store, you can see him on the surveillance images, police say he slashed a cashier in northeast philadelphia wal-mart. >> i would not come here at night, i have lost hubcaps and different things broke into the car. >> police say there were 20 customers inside of the store at 1:30 a.m., when this man tried to leave with two boxes of boots and a 42 inch flat screen in his shopping cart, the cashier asked for a receive and the customer tried to leave and the cashier stopped him. >> the perpetrator said leave go or i'll kill you, the perp straighter then pulled a knife, a folding knife and lunged towards the cashier and attempted to stab him in the chest and he cashier blocked the stashing. >> the knife hit his forearm, the suspect took off with the tv and loaded it into his light colored vehicle with a hatch bag. >> he followed him in

katherine scott is live now in the woman's neighborhood following the investigation. >> reporter: a male we don't know his age, called 911 this morning to say he was responsible for the death of a woman who lived here on the unit block of withers way. police were here for hours and will continue to be as they collect evidence. the man was taken to headquarters but police have not released his name or the victim's name. >> it's surprising it's very quiet. >> neighbors were met with the sight of police vehicles outside of their home in the sanford ridge community, the psychiatrist and mother of two was found by her daughter, her body laying insood of the front home where she lived for years. >> very friendly and we discussed our children and all of that. >> investigators are walking the property for hours gathering evidence, her body was discovered just before 4:00 a.m., a 911 call came in soon after. >> within about a half hour, 4:27 a.m., received a call from the subject giving us information that he was responsible for this incident. >> patrol units went to this home on spring brook lan
