katherine scott is outside police headquarters with the latest.d morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right, 6 fatal heroin overdoses and philadelphia police are investigating today, five of them happened in kensington within blocks of each other. the latest case confirmed by police happened around 8:00 p.m. on the 600 block of east indiana avenue. police in his 30s had a fatal her woin -- heroin overdose. a 40-year-old man dialed on east broad. two people died on kensington avenue. the last fatal case include a woman in her 30s who died on the 3300 block of amber street and man in his 40s on d street. police have been investigating a bad batch of heroin circulating throughout philadelphia for the past months or so. whether last night's overdoses had to do with the bad batch, east detectives are investigate and they want to hear from you if you have any information. >> a fire at a repurposed ware house. a dance party was going on at the time. 8 victims were identified. official confirmed teens are among the dead. families are

we're live at east detectives katherine scott, channel6 "action news. tt. >> thanks, katherine. >>> we have new information about a deadly crash on the new jersey turnpike. state police confirm a tractor-trailer driver was killed at the scene in westampton township burlington county last night. he had that stepped out of the parked truck between exits four and five when a pickup truck hit him and rear-ended the trailer. there is no word on that driver's condition. >> developing overnight, police in berlin say the deadly truck crash into a christmas market was carried out on purpose most likely as an act of terror. police tweeted overnight someone deliberately drove into that crowd killing 12 people and injuring 48 others. a suspect was arrested after the incident and police confirmed that he is the driver, a polish national in the passenger seat was found dead and the trucking company that owns the truck is saying they think that the truck was stolen poland a building site. this morning we're hearing from witnesses to that attack. ly. >> it went just pas

"action news" reporter katherine scott is live at the port norris barracks in cumberland county where that trooper was stationed. katherine. >> reporter: matt, trooper frankie williams and another driver were killed in that crash last night. so far police haven't released a whole lot of details about that other driver. but we do know that trooper williams was only 31 years old when he was killed last night in the line of duty t he was assigned here to the port norris station. now let's go video from camden. this was the scene overnight outside cooper university hospital. the procession as the trooper's body was taken from the hospital. camden county officers stopped to salute the fallen trooper. williams was from atlantic county, a member of the 156th state police class which graduated this past january. the crash in millville happened just before that 7:00 p.m. but the road was closed for hours for the police investigation as investigators searched the wreckage and gathered evidence. at 6:59 p.m. state police say a man in a toyota corolla traveling southbound on 55 crossed the grass

"action news" reporter katherine scott is live now outside that courthouse in norristown. s going run down the details. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right, bill cosby is expected back here today for another pretrial hearing. this one focuses on whether the prosecution can call 13 other accusers to testify at trial. this is a big issue for both sides and we expect a battle. this trial scheduled for the spring is for charge that is bill cosby sexually assaulted former temple university employee andrea constand at his cheltenham home in 2004. prosecutors want to call 13 other women to testify in an effort to show cosby had a pattern of drugging and molesting women from the 70's to the 90's. some of the women are set to have only known him for a few days. others had ongoing relationships with cosby. district attorney kevin steele argues the 13 women's stories are reel advance because they establish a common scheme or plan. but the defense is crying foul saying the commonwealth is trying to bolster their weak case. cosby's lawyers will try keep

katherine scott joins us live at the camden county police department with more. >> reporter: matt, what exactly happened last night remains under investigation, we know the victim is 30 years old, rushed to the hospital last night in serious condition, so far this morning we have not had a an update from police this morning on her condition at the hospital. let's go to video, last night in camden, detectives were on the scene investigating they were there throughout the night on east state street. this happened 11:30 p.m. inside an apartment, a 30-year-old woman shot in the head. police and medics responded rushed her to cooper university hospital in serious condition. camden county police and the prosecutor's office are investigating they were on the scene for hours gathering evidence and trying to conduct interviews. at this point there's been no word on the circumstance of the shooting and what the motive was. we called multiple times for information, including who police might be looking for, nobody has gotten back to us about that. the victim has not been identified, only that she
