katherine scott is live on the 4200 block of neilson street with the details. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, police are investigating the motive behind this. police believe the home invasion happened on friday, but the victim, 50 years old was not found until yesterday by a concerned family member. this is the home where this happened in juniata park. we're told the victim was a small engine repair shop where he works in the garage of his home on the 4200 block of neilson street. on friday, two men entered the property wearing mask and gloves and forced the victim upstairs to the second floor bedroom where he was beaten and left with a rag stuffed in his mouth. both men fled the scene. apparently the victim's brother grew concerned when the victim didn't turn up for a family eventful weekend he went to the house around 40:00 p.m. he climbed up to a second floor window and found his brother inside. his brother was badly injured his brother took the victim to the hospital. surveillance cameras were found outside and inside the property. i

katherine scott is live on the scene. >> reporter: matt, i spoke to the fire chief he said a hundred residents were evacuated as a precaution. at 2:00 a.m. they were allowed to return home. they are trying to clear the scene and they trying to upright the tanker that overturned and of course, there was a subsequent fuel spill. this happened at route 611 and oxford drive. a driver of the pick up truck in the southbound lanes lost control and crossed over to the northbound lanes, that's when the pick up was hit by a tanker truck which was carrying gasoline. one of the driver sustained minor injuries, the tanker truck leaked 4,000 gallons of fuel, it went into a storm sewer, a contractor connected to the tanker was called in for the cleanup. residents were warned there might be a lingering smell of gas in the air until the cleanup is over. red cross had a temporary shelter set up at an elementary school. they were allowed to return home at 2:30 a.m. this morning. they are hoping to get the road open for the morning rush. the target time is at 6:00 a.m., we'll see how the cleanup progres

"action news" reporter katherine scott live along the 2400 block of aramingo avenue where that woman abducted. katherine. >> reporter: that's right, matt. police say the 25-year-old woman was just walking out of work last night at this shopping center when she was abducted at gunpoint. she is okay. she was not injured in all this. she was very shaken up, though, according to police. police are still looking for at least three suspects. they do have one in custody. let's go to video from overnight on emory street in port richmond. this was on the 2600 block of emory less than a half a mile away from here. this is the victim's toyota that the suspects forced her into. plainclothes officers were tipped off that there was going to be an abduction from a shopping center on the 2400 block of aramingo. they were told the suspects would be in a red jeep cherokee and they knew the license plate number so police rushed over. first they saw that red jeep cherokee with four to five people inside and then they witnessed two of the suspects who approached a 25-year-old woman who was leaving work. t

katherine scott joins us live in collingdale with that story. katherine. >> reporter: matt, the 8-year-old victim is recovering at home after this happened last week her parents are speaking out about the terrifying ordeal. >> that is sick, it just make my sick in my stomach. >> reporter: sarah and alvin deagan spoke to "action news" days after their daughter 8-year-old dorothy was stabbed in the head. 21-year-old bashir attacked her with a booch -- butcher knife. alvin took off his shirt and wrapped it around his daughter's head. >> it's not easy to see a little child blood shooting like that. >> reporter: little dorothy got a number of stitches and bashir was arrested. bashir said she was not happy with the child's babysitting skills. the victim's mother said she was too young to baby-sit. >> it was all lies there was no babysitting. it was just lies. >> reporter: bashir is being held on $250,000 cash bail which so far she has been unable to post. she has a preliminary hearing scheduled for next tuesday. katherine scott channel 6 "action news."
