kathy: i think yields should be higher.lecting the growth we have, particularly from fiscal stimulus, less about the fed but more about fiscal stimulus which has been pretty powerful so far and has the potential to continue to keep the economy pretty strong. and we have income growth. we should start to see aggregate demand pickup. and for longer-term prospects, keep inflation higher. and real yields higher. what i don't think the market is convinced that will happen. i think the market is skeptical about that. at the same time, we do have tremendous demand, just a little demand for yields out there. what is additional investors have learned is that you have to take every opportunity when yields slip up to put the money to work. taylor: exactly, that is it what we have heard. it may not be the fed, it may be there foreign, overseas buyer who wake up, japan wants to be buying your bonds. do you see that changing anytime soon? kathy: i doubt that it changes a lot. there are seasonal factors. but you're still looking at yield

i think people can look to kathy for great inspiration.an observer from the side, how broken is new york democratic politics right now to you? >> all politics are broken right now. you need people on both sides of the aisle to rise above the fray and kathy has demonstrated over three decades of public service the ability to rise above the fray and to focus in on issues that matter to people regardless of the political persuasion and she will be in it standing governor for new york state and all people. >> were you taken by surprise from cuomo resigned today. i know the entire new york delegation even people who had been uncle most side for a while after this report came out said, we are done time to go. are you supposed actually happened? >> truthfully, no. the evidence relative to what the governor had done, was overwhelming. it was just a matter of time someone surprised, not necessarily. i think the earlier the better to get out of the way and to allow kathy hochul to do what she is very careful of doing. that will accrue to the benefit

she also made a comment about kathy hochul saying governor kathy hochul will be an extraordinary governor, "she understands the complexities and needs of our state. having seen -- been both a congresswoman and having been a lieutenant governor for the last several years, she's ready and able and capable of being an extraordinary governor and i look forward to supporting her and helping her as she turns toward governing our state in a very difficult and challenging time." there was also a fairly predictable comment from mayor de blasio, who has been a long-time political enemy and adversary of andrew cuomo's, saying that "make no mistake, this is the result of survivors bravely telling their stories. it was past time for andrew cuomo to resign. it is for the good of all of the people of new york." so there you have it. andrew cuomo resigning under fire, trying to pivot to his legacy by resigning, hoping to avoid impeachment. and if impeachment ends, could ban him forever from trying to revive his political career and run again. and that does it for us for this extraordinary edition of "and

all right, kathy park in albany for us. kathy, stick around. tom winter, let's talk about what we saw today before the resignation. and it seems as if now in hindsight it appears to be hey, don't pursue these -- you know, don't pursue him legally and here's all the different ways we think we can push back on this. is he out of legal trouble? and if not, where does he face the most trouble? >> he's far from legal trouble here, chuck. basically, the governor's legal position has not changed at all, even in light of his resignation, which takes effect in 14 days. he will no longer be able to use the official governmental livestream, the governor's office in new york city to put out his personal attorney's statements and what she says she believes about the independent report released by the attorney general. that's no longer a quiver that he has. but as far as his exposure continuing forward, nothing changes with respect to the five district attorney's offices who are looking at specific elements of that independent report as they try to determine
