here to weigh in on that fox news contributor and talk show host tammy ruth and kathy lynn taylor. what does he need to do? can he change the minds of these minority voters? >> in some respects he probably has. there is no really accurate polling on how many moved over in the proom mary how well he carried minorities. based on the number of primaries he won he's carrying more minorities than people expected. he needs to increase 38 percent of the population is minority they will have to win more of that. satisfaction cuts across all folks of the country cuts across race and creed and religion. it may be a choice of not loving his bed tied manner all of the time. it is not an open primary but it is a big state with a big population and we will see how he does there. >> with the crowd we saw that's not representative of the hispanic tpopulation. they are going to be voting based on their own families. i think that that is what donald trump is tapping into doing better than expected because people know they have to decide between how it has been and doing something better. they will b

welcome kathy lynn taylor and republican strategist and former communications aid to the mccain pollen presidential campaign, boris epstein. >> i got an hour sleep. it's a good nap. >> big question here, is this thing over? we talked so much about a potential contested convention. how are we going to talk about it now? >> as a hypothetical. it's not going to happen. it's over. if you look at the numbers, 1047, trump needs not that many more to get to 1237. you have new jersey coming up with 51. that's winner take all. then california, even before that you got west virginia and nevada, new mexico, oregon, all states where trump being the only candidate really on the ballot that matters. by the time the convention rolls around, he will be well past the 1237. >> is there any scenario where he is not the nominee? >> there's really not. the only -- there's no scenario of a contested convention. could somebody run as a third-party candidate, it's possible. it's extremely unlikely. nobody raised their hand. anybody whose name has been floated has denied or said no thank you. we have had -- we

welcome kathy lynn taylor and former communications aid to the mccain, palin presidential campaign. good morning to both of you. it was a big night. talking about trump being the nominee is it officially over last night? >> it would the won't be officially over until the convention. we can draw up fantastic scenarios where trump is not will not nehm, b -- the nominee but he is. it is a quick march because there's a lot of states left. new jersey is winner take all. california, nevada, new mexico. >> california, new mexico, nebraska. important states that have a lot of delegates that get trump to the 1237. >> is there any real scenario where we will see a contested convention. >> i don't think anybody believes that. if you take all of the delegates from the other candidates ted cruz, marco rubio who has more delegates than john kasich, carly fiorina, jeb bush and remaining delegates and put them all together you barely get over the 1237. someone like john kasich would need more than 50 percent of those and get every single delegate out there. it can't happen. voters have made it pret
