katy, what are you hearing about the case?>> reporter: well, tracy, for the last two weeks, millen mateo garcia has been held without bail. he will appear at 11:00 here for this preliminary hearing. at that time, prosecutors will lay out every piece of evidence they have against him. 28-year-old milton mateo garcia was found carrying the victim's keys, just 72 hours after the rape. police said he followed the 26-year-old doctor as she walked home alone. surveillance captured garcia approaching the victim at 19th and spruce streets. police said he forced her into her apartment where he repeatedly raped her. he took the victim's keys and cell phone and they tracked him to his south philadelphia neighborhood. they pinpointed him after doing old-fashioned police work. he's being charged with rape, robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping. he is a citizen of honduras and according to immigration officials, this time last year, he was deported. courting live outside of the criminal justice center, katy zachry, "nbc10 news." >>> an

katie marzullo has the breaking news. >>> the c.h.p. made quick work of this saying they are understaffed and they wanted to get it cleared before the commute. if there is any silver lining it is for people headed northbound on 101 because the scene is cleared and traffic is moving along quickly. i got an update from c.h.p. about what happened starting after 2:30 that a motorcyclist hit the back of a big rig and i can tell you it was a double trailer as fault truck and possibly the motorcyclist was trying to pass the truck and slammed into the back it and the motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle on to the road and that is when other cars became involved. >> the rider of the motorcycle was left in the road and there were several vehicles inadvertently that came into contact with the body. whether contributed to his death, we don't know. >> the victim has not been identified and we know he has hispanic man between 25 and 30 years ago and witnesses say that he was speeding, possibly going up to 100 miles per hour so at this point c.
