"nbc 10's" matt delucia is live at temple university hospital where the two survivors are recovering. what are police working on with this investigation? >> reporter: well neighbors, cameras, those two surviving victims, vai, those are the three elements police hope will lead them to some answers. overnight the 3100 block of north 6th street. the gunfire started just after 12:30 this morning. officers were patrolling the area when they heard a series of gunshots. they found three victims on the ground. all of them rushed to temple hospital. two are stable and one is dead. they have found three dozen spent casings of two different caliber. >> we know there were a lot of shots fired. we found 32 spend shell casings on the highway at the intersection of 6th and clear street ashtd also on the sidewalk and on the street. >> reporter: police tell us that detectives intend to speak with surviving victims t

"the life and legacy of abraham lincoln." after i began researching, i found out the hearse was destroyed by fire in st. louis missouri at the livery stable in 1887. all that was left was a photo that you see here and to two silverplate medallions just recently found for all to see. after the initial research, we cannot find a suitable hearse that adequately represented the hearse used for abraham lincoln. much like the historical account of 150 years ago. in an effort to give back and contribute to this historic anniversary, our family decided to assemble a team of historians, artisans, and old-school craftsman to reverse engineer and re-create the elaborate and ornate hearse. this is a mission that is not only vital to the reenactment , but a true honor and privilege for a family to play such an important role in this is

good evening i'm katie marzullo.'s get right out to janet live at the sun valley mall in concord. >> reporter: it was scary busy shopping weekend. people tell us this kind of stuff does not happen here. now, the shooting took place here in the top level parking lot near jc penney, shortly before 11:00 this morning. police received reports of gunshotses in the area and when they arrived they found several cars riddled with bullet holes and found casings on the floor as well. no one was hurt, however anybody hospitals are on alert in case victims come in to get treated. people shopping at the mall were certainly surprised to hear what happened. >> scary to know that people doing that and i have my son, kids out here. you don't really want that. >> brazen, dangerous to the public, big concern to the police department and sun valley mall. >> reporter: officials have contacted the owner of the cars and are now reviewing surveillance video. police say there appears to be no motive why to the cars were shot. they're now loo
