. >> katie marzullo, abc 7 news. >>> a man crashed a vehicle and started swinging around an ax. sky 7 hd was above the scene as an officer pepper sprayed the man who appeared to have a weapon in his hand. they eventually dragged him out of the canal and put him in custody. investigators say it all started with the man weaving in and out of traffic. he even went up on the sidewalk at one point. he started throwing tools at passing motorists. he threatened people while swinging that ax. police arrived and chased him to the canal where he was arrested after a short standoff. he will undergo a psychological evaluation. pg&e crews are wrapping up a series of safety tests following a natural gas leak in downtown san jose. the leak began at around 11:00 yesterday morning in the area of south market and west santa clara street where a construction crew pierced a pipe. the leak is capped, but crews remained on the scene until about 8:00 this morning conducting safety tests and restoring service to roughly 40 commercial customers. >> a new movable barrier is under way on the golden gate b
