katie byrne has more now from cedar key. power restoration and cleanup are the biggest priorities on the ground in some of these coastal towns that got hit so hard by storm surge, in some cases blowing out the walls to people's homes. this is where frank pattillo lives, in a condo where you could see this used to be a bedroom, a bathroom right over here. but that water came in like waves from the gulf and tossed around his appliances over in the back, you'll see a washing machine in all kinds of debris just blew out the back of his garage and ended up in a debris field in the backyard, shared with neighbors. frank pattillo decided not to evacuate when the storm came through, but he said it was scary waking up to the sound of that water tearing apart the walls to his garage. all of this is going to take a while, and that's kind of what's in mind. you say, well, gosh, the weather's pretty. everything's nice. people can work. but of course, it wasn't just us. excuse me. it's all up and down the coastline. so people are so busy

in cedar key, florida, katie byrne, fox weather. thousands of harley-davidson motorcycles have been recalled over concerns of malfunction and could lead to a crash. the company is recalling more than 65,000 motorcycles as several models made from 2018 through this year are affected by the recall. the issue is over a rear shock absorber fastener that may break causing loss of tire pressure and then control, which could lead to a crash. if you have a bike that's been recalled, you should have you should receive a notification sometime this week with information on how to get a part replacement for free. a new report finds cancer patients are not always getting the care they need because of the volume of red tape they have to deal with. researchers found patients who had to contend with a lot of paperwork were 18% more likely to experience delays in getting their care or find themselves unable to stick to a treatment plan. that is compared to patients who face less red tape . the study was carried out by the commonwealth fund, a health

katie byrne has the story. president biden on the ground saturday in north florida getting a firsthand look at the extent of the damage caused by hurricane idalia when people are in real trouble, the most important thing give them is hope. and we're not going anywhere. the federal government , we're here to help the state as long as it takes. there are no plans for biden to meet with florida governor ron desantis, as though the two have spoken regularly about recovery efforts. idalia came ashore wednesday as a category three hurricane, the most powerful storm to hit florida's big bend region in over a century. record setting storm surge carving through some coastal communities. it wiped this house right off of its foundations. it was an elevated house of about eight foot off the ground. but when the storm surge hit it and waves on top of the storm surge, it busted it all to pieces and it's gone now. tens of thousands are still without power. crews hope to get most of those homes back up and running by sunday. t
