as katie utehs reports. >> reporter: acting on a tip, searchers combed mount tamalpais. the familiful 33-year-old magdalena glinkowski waited for positive identification. >> there are similarities in the clothing. >> reporter: surveillance pictures from the parking lot put glinkowski in the area on march 30l and those images jogged the memory of a trail runner who called the marin county sheriff's office. >> he was actually able to pinpoint where was that he had seen her. >> reporter: k-9 crews located the body in a steep wooded drainage area on the southeast slopes of mount tam. within a mile of when glinkowski's car was parked. early indications there is no foul play involved. >> there doesn't appear to be any signs of trauma and may truly be an accident. >> reporter: by early evening fingerprints positively identified the body of glinkowski, a small bit of closure for the parents who earlier held out hope she would be found alive. >> she would fight, so we were really helpful. >> reporting from mount tamalpais, katie utehs ktvu channel 2 news. >>> more on that deadly
