live in san fransisco katie utehs ktvu channel 2 news. >>> 6:32.new this morning, police and fire officials in oakland investigating two incidents at one house involving graffiti and a small fire. ktvu's brian flores is in oakland to tell us more about whether these incidents may be connected. >> reporter: good morning dave. officials have not come out and said that both of these incidents are related but at the very least it's suspicious that one home was targeted with graffiti yesterday afternoon and early this morning a small fire broke out damaging parts of the home as well. this home is on the 1400 block of 73rd avenue. we are not showing a lot of graffiti on the house that was talked yesterday afternoon. but it includes a homophobic slur and the phrase stop snitching. police investigators are on that case. fire investigators are also on the case because at 12:45 this morning at the same home a small fire broke out. firefighters tell ktvu it appears that it started from the outside and damaged a portion of the back porch. what is adding more t

live on scene in richmond katie utehs ktvu channel 2 news. >>> a san jose teenager who was beat inan shot has died from if his injuries. janine de la vega joins us live from the scene. >> reporter: police are concerned about possible gang retaliation this weekend. that is because this latest homicide detectives believe that it is gang related. so that is something they are definitely discussing and responding to. homicide detectives are looking for a suspect or possibly more suspects responsible for shooting a 16-year-old emmanuel arzoa at least once when he was walking on virginia avenue. i have learned through police sources that a group of young men approached the teen. one person beat him and apparently another person shot him. he was rushed to the hospital that evening but died of his injuries yesterday. sources say the victim and suspect appeared to have been affiliated from rival gangs and wearing opposite colors when the crime occurred. the city is on pace to pass last years high of 46 homicides. and on police here are asking anybody for information to call them. if you want

live in richmond katie utehs ktvu channel 2 news. >>> time now 6:32. pretty scary moments in san francisco. a muni bus careening out of control and then a passenger helped save the day. the 43 masonic bus was carrying about a dozen passengers when it collided with a volkswagen when it made an illegal turn. the bus with that car stuck in its grill barreled across the panhandle and people were struggling to get out of the way. about that time passenger frank rushed out of the seat to the driver's seat. >> he was conscious the whole time. he was conscious after. i think he got into some type of shock on the bus and just couldn't react. >> the bus driver was treated for back pain. luckily no one else was hurt. police say the driver of that volkswagen may be cited for making an illegal turn. >>> a four-year-old girl is recovering in the hospital after falling two stories. this happened at a home on 23rd avenue in the fruitvale district of oakland. a quick thinking bystander jumped a fence to help the child. she has head injuries but expected to be okay. >>>

that's where we find ktvu channel 2 reporter katie utehs. just spoke with someone who heard those crucial moments before the officer fired his gun. >> reporter: that's right. he gives a vive jade -- vive yesterday recollection of what he heard. there's the c-dock you can see the police crime scene still there after blocking off the scene. there is a pathway that goes around the marina, a lot of walkers use it both morning and night. i just spoke with the man who heard the shots and the officer. >> i was talking on the dock and i heard an officer clearly yell, hands up, hands up and then it was five to seven shots. >> reporter: the walker who did not want to be identified said the shooting happened around 8:00 or so last night. he said about 8:08, 8:1. someone called northbound -- 8:12. someone called 911 about an argument here. the caller said death threats had been made. investigators confirm multiple shots were fired and a man on the boat had a boat -- a man on the boat had a gun. police did not say how many times the man was hit. the offi

ktvu's katie utehs is live on scene talking to witnesses. >> reporter: we arrived on scene within thet half hour. what i've been able to learn is police tell me several people were transported to the hospital. it's unclear how many people were injured. let me show you the forklift tow truck drivers are trying to right at this moment. the collision happened between the forklift and a small vehicle. it's unclear at this point who caused the collision. the forklift driver was injured and possibly two people within that vehicle were injured. now this is a busy shipping yard here. this is the san fransisco produce market, so there are big rig trucks. there are forklifts forklifts and also a public street that runs right through the middle of it. we're still working to learn exactly what happened, but we have learned that at the very least two people, possibly three people were transported to the hospital with injuries. and right now crews are trying to clear this scene, and we're working to learn, again, who caused this accident or what led up to the accident, but multiple injuries and a v
