i'm katie marzullo. let's start off with first look at the weather, here is frances dinglasan in for lisa argen. >> good morning everyone. we are starting off with live doppler picking up a lot of moisture from the clouds moving in toward the bay area. still no rainfall hitting the ground. you'll find some of the low clouds over emeryville as we look out towards the bay bridge. visibility not too much of a factor around the bay. you might find limited visibility along the coast. starting off foggy and cloudy with temperatures in the upper 40s to mid-50s. this afternoon the chance of showers moves in, but it is looking less likely to hit during the afternoon hours. it will be cooler getting up to near 70 degrees. lots of sunshine yesterday. today it is a lot cooler and showers more likely this evening. temperatures in the mid 50s to low 60s. i'll show you the timing how it will play out in the next full forecast. >> katie: ten-year-old girl is recovering this morning after gunfire rang out in her east oak

. >> katie: more breaking news. arson investigators are trying to determine the cause of a restaurant fire in san francisco's financial district. firefighters were called out just before 3:00 a.m. to california grill on commercial street. crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames there but one too the fire was hurt and taken to the hospital. >>> in castro valley alameda county sheriff's deputies shot a parolee after he appointed a rifle at them. they shot him in the driveway of his home around 7:30 last night. he was last reported to be in surgery at eden medical center. the man's family called 911 saying he was acting erratically and then the parolee called 911 and threatened to kill arriving deputies. >> in san jose police continue to look for a killer. the man stabbed a woman to death yesterday afternoon just a few blocks from the santa clara county sheriff's office. john alston has more from north first street. >> brutal stabbing happened in broad daylight in a parking lot next to the togo sandwich shop.

katie marzullo is live in the newsroom with new information. katie?lion was supposed to number his feeding cage while hanson was cleaning the larger pen but a gate was partly open and the line lifted it up and got do hanson with his paw. the 550 pound lion mounted and the 24-year-old hanson was gone. authorities believe that she died almost inaccidently from a broken neck. the fresno county coroner says she did not suffer a small consolation for her father who says his daughter's dream job made him nervous. i have also had a premonition i would get a call like this but i thought it would be much further in the future than the age of 24. she probably never saw the attack coming. she was talking on the cell phone with a co-worker at the time of the incident. the co-worker was worried weapon the call ended and hanson did not call back. the lion should have been secured in the feeding cage while hanson went about the work so investigators have to find out why a gate was open giving the lion access, and what motivated the cat to attack. >> the cat had just

katie marzullo is live in the newsroom with new information. katie? >> lion was supposed to number his feeding cage while hanson was cleaning the larger pen but a gate was partly open and the line lifted it up and got do hanson with his paw. the 550 pound lion mounted and the 24-year-old hanson was gone. authorities believe that she died almost inaccidently from a broken neck. the fresno county coroner says she did not suffer a small consolation for her father who says his daughter's dream job made him nervous. i have also had a premonition i would get a call like this but i thought it would be much further in the future than the age of 24. she probably never saw the attack coming. she was talking on the cell phone with a co-worker at the time of the incident. the co-worker was worried weapon the call ended and hanson did not call back. the lion should have been secured in the feeding cage while hanson went about the work so investigators have to find out why a gate was open giving the lion access, and what motivated the cat to attack. >> the cat had

katie. >> thanks, lisa. and we want to take you back to the breaking news we brought you at the top of the hour. abc7 news reporter kira klapper is live at the scene of a nightclub shooting in san francisco. three people were shot. kira, how serious are the injuries? >> katie, one of the victims is in serious condition, critical condition, rather. two victims have none life-threatening injuries. they are all being treated at the hospital. let's get you to the video right after the shooting just about 1:15 this morning at 330 rich nightclub. witnesses tell us it was a very scary scene. they say it started as a fight in the club. shots were fired into the air. everyone in the club panicked. everyone was trying to get out. one victim said there was another round of shots, a set of creams, complete and putter pandemonium. then the gun fight made it across the street into the parking lot where anywhere from 30 to 40 shots were fired. cars were hit. at least three people were hit. listen to one of the witnesses, w
