nbc 10's katy zachry is live outside lower moreland police with more on this story. katy?> reporter: we have learned from the victim's family and friends that they leave behind three sons, all young and either in elementary or middle school. now police say it was their 14-year-old son who found his mother and father dead with lacerations to both bodies. and near where they lay, investigators tell us they found a chainsaw. police say at least one death is a homicide. and they are not looking for any suspects at this time. not looking for any suspects. it happened on county lane in huntington valley. nearby the cathedral opened its doors for an evening prayer vigil. we spoke to a religion teacher who had one of the victim's sons in his classroom when they heard the news. >> i'm very grateful for the sense that the boys have an extended family that are really taking good care of them. that's what i wish most for, is that they have a caring community to support them. >> reporter: and behind me the lower moreland police department is working with the montgomery county district

"nbc 10's" katy zachry got on the scene in bustleton. what can you tell us, katy? >> reporter: we are as close as we can get to the scene. if you were to go a little further down krewstown road sky force 10 is over the scene, you'll see a philadelphia police cruiser that around 5:30 this morning smashed into a guardrail along the 8800 block of krewstown road. that officer has a pretty bad head injury i'm told from people at the scene and an officer who just came to our live truck to give me information, that the officer has a pretty significant bump on his head from his head hitting the windshield upon impact. now this officer was headed to a robbery in progress call in the bustleton section of the city. this stretch krewstown is extremely narrow windy and hilly. he obviously had some speed as he was heading to that call and for some reason he lost control. police are obviously looking into what led to that but his car is the only vehicle involved in this one-vehicle crash. he was taken to areatoresdale hospital where at this time he may be admitted for the injury

nbc 10's katy zachary is live in blue bell with more. katy? >> reporter: rosemary this is not what these parents wanted to worry about going into the weekend. many of these are working families and they don't have any place to take their children starting tomorrow. now that the goddard school this location here in blue bell has closed. we met some of these families in the parking lot yesterday, and they tell us they were told about this late friday that their children's day care and school here is closing for good. it leaves about 100 young kids out of the classroom. now, we did get an e-mail from goddard school management late yesterday. they tell us they will help families find other day care options, and for those with no place to turn the school says it will provide free care for a week, but many families tell us it's not good enough. >> there are around 100 children now that need to get placed somewhere on monday. well, some of the local day cares are at their capacity. so am i supposed to just not go to work on monday? >> reporter: that'

katy zachry it looks like flashlights behind you. not a good sign. >> this is not a good sign on 95 where we are seeing issues at girard northbound and southbound. so skyforce 10 is over the scene of the latest crash. this was at 95 right at girard northbound that involves three vehicles. and you can see as we hear from crews here there's a bunch of debris stemming from the accident into the center lane. as you can see, cars are really trying to get around this on the right-hand side. to my map, there's a lot to show you happening on the roadways. we'll start with a different vantage point from the crash on i-95, this is a live look at the northbound side with traffic approaching the crash. it is really backing up. take a look at the drive times southbound. it's much higher with your drive times near woodhaven and the vine taking you longer on 95 southbound. there's another crash clearing to involve two vehicles. and i've been watching that to look less severe than the one northbound. an accident on woodland avenue and vineland in ph

katy? >> rosemary this is as close as we could get. we're on the harmony road overpass. take a look behind me. it's not too far off in the distance where you can see this deadly accident scene. this is what's tying traffic up on 295 southbound, particularly near exit 17. it's located in the east greenwich township area. that's in gloucester county. we now two people have died in this two-car crash. several others were injured and taken to cooper medical center in camden. we have no other word on any other injuries. as you can see, traffic is slowly getting by southbound on the right-hand shoulder but major delays if you're traveling southbound on 295. locally, you can take 44 around this. northbound, it was jammed for quite a bit, because once police first got out here they closed off the northbounds she northbound lanes as well, but that has cleared up. and while traffic is flowing around this northbound good if you stay in the center and northbound lanes getting around this mess. we'll ta
