katy, thank you very much indeed, katy austin in milton keynes there.t missing off the devon coast two years ago says her daughter has been let down by the nhs. dr lauren phillips‘ mother, andrea graham, who is herself a former nhs manager, has called on the health secretary to do more to support those on the front line of our hospitals. marie ashby reports. andrea graham comes to woolacombe bay in devon to feel close to her daughter. this is where her car was found abandoned. dr lauren phillips, who was 26, had told her mother she was worried about starting a newjob in a&e in bristol. doctors have a fear that if they admitted they had struggled with a particular situation at work, or if they admitted that they were struggling from mental health problems, that that might be taken into account in future career, or it might demonstrate that, actually, they're not strong enough to be a doctor. lauren did seek help and was advised to sign up with a gp. the nhs practitioner health service has supported thousands of doctors in london over the last 11 years. t
