nbc 10's katy zachry is live on the scene this morning with new information. katy? >> reporter: yes, tracy and vai, a key piece of evidence that police are looking into, the couple says one of the perpetrators said to them during this whole ordeal, do we have the wrong house? the family i spoke to not long ago, they live just up the hill here. they've lived at this home for 40 years an they say nothing unsafe has ever happened to them because they felt incredibly safe living on this block with so many of their neighbors being police officers. investigators here at the scene say around 1:15 this morning, three men with masks and gloves and at least one showing a gun, broke into the home on this street, tied up a couple in their 60s and adult son who were all sleeping inside. the masked men demanded to know where the money was. but the family insisted they didn't have any. >> the family was saying they don't have any money in the house. that's when the three perpetrators started to ransack the entire house, pulling out drawers and overturning drawers and some furnitur
