. >>> i am katy zachry. it's 5:30 on the dot. let's get to the weather with meteorologist, krystal klei. was not too bad of a day yesterday, right, krystal? >> we saw some of the moisture try to make its way through, but as expected a lot of it dissipated before making it to the clouground, so we just had clouds. that's what we are going to be dealing with today. some clouds with peeks of sun as well, and pull it out more and unlike yesterday we are not tracking a lot of rain heading our direction, but you see this area right here, it's already weakening and so today it should be a mostly dry day and a day you can get outdoors and enjoy the holiday weekend. temperatures right now, some 60s, some 50s. we are at 52 degrees in pottstown and allentown, but warmer for philadelphia at 63. atlantic city at 61, and wilmington at 62. temperatures today won't be much different than yesterday, just the forecast yesterday we hit 73 and today just a tad warmer. take a look at the next few hours. we go from 63 right now and staying around thro

katy zachry live. what are you learning about this crash? >> reporter: minutes ago we got here to the woolwitch municipal building where police are dealing with the case. there is where the uninjured passengers were brought. we'll look at more video of the scene. this tractor-trailer/bus crash happened around 12:30 this morning in west deptford, gloucester township. it happened right on the new jersey turnpike near exit 2. now, preliminary reports according to state police show the tractor-trailer collided with the bus. the bus overturned along the side of the turnpike into a grassy ditch. that's probably what really helped the situation because more than 30 people on board were injured. state police tell me no major injuries reported, no one died in this despite how harrowing it looks from the bus overturning. there were some children on board that bus. in terms of the injuries being reported, just minor at this point. people reporting pain in their arms and legs. a lot of people taken to six area hospitals. more for precautionary reasons.

nbc10's katy zachry joins us live in the digital operations center with what this could mean for the trial. >> reporter: from a defense standpoint, bill cosby's team hopes it means a jury not tainted by intense media coverage. the jury is being chosen from the western part of the state because cosby's defense team successfully argued to have it chosen from outside of montgomery county. the trial begins two weeks from today in norristown. that's where 12 jurors and six alternates will be sequestered in a hotel for the duration of the trial. the 69-year-old comedian has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges stemming from a 2004 incident at his cheltenham home with then-temple university employee andrea constand. he's accused of giving her pills before assaulting her. he claims it was consensual. he recently spoke about the case to philadelphia's michaeler some con issue saying -- michael smerconish saying he will not testify. >> needs to tell the jurors everybody knows something about something. but are you able to put it aside and only decide this case by what you hear within t

katy zachry is live in quakertown with more. katy? >> reporter: soon you will hear from the victim about how close he thinks he got to getting shot. first, here are the details that led up to the shooting. the victim's car was pulling out of this quakertown walmart parking lot late yesterday afternoon. the victim tells us a car was right on their bumper trying to get around them. that's when the driver of the car, 32-year-old brandon grosso, pulled a shotgun and fired into the victim's car. the bullet shattered the back windshield. there were two people inside, the victim and his mother. they were stunned and shaken. >> we hear bang. i turn around, i see the window has been shot. glass hit me in the arm. >> reporter: the victim went on to see if the shotgun was angled any differently, he feels he would be show. for hours last night, police were in bucks county searching for their suspect. they found him soon after our 11:00 news aired. they found him at this quakertown holliday inn express. that suspect, 32-year-old brandon grosso, ri

katy zachry has the story with some injured passengers. you spoke to someone that was on that bus?>> reporter: they're right behind me. take a look. they've just been minutes ago released from cooper university hospital. the four passengers were brought to cooper hospital after they were on board the bus when it overturned. they sustained minor injuries. they are upset, shaken, and in the dark about how they're getting home and what the next step is. 30 people were injured in the early morning crash. state police say a tractor-trailer hit the packed bus, then departed from new york last night and was headed to its final destination in atlanta. that bus overturned. 30 people are board including children were hurt. no major injuries, though. but more than that, these passengers tell me they're not getting any responses from the bus company or from investigators about what's next for them. >> my hands and everything is swollen, my back -- i'm so messed up. it was nice to let us lay in there for a while. nobody's doing nothing. >> reporter: when you see nobody -- >> i called the poli

katy zachry is live with more on the type of person the lawyers will be looking for.bviously very different between the prosecution and the defense who they want in the jury peel. tell us more. >> reporter: right. experts say the defense will likely choose older jurors, possibly men. some who are star struck and fans of bill cosby. the prosecution will aim younger, more discerning candidates. questions that will likely be asked in the courtroom include are you a fan of "the cosby show," and are you the victim of sexual assault or know anyone who was victimized. they have to agree on 12 jurors and 6 alternates. they will return to montgomery county for the june trial. they will hear the sexual assault case stemming from 2004 when bill cosby allegedly molested temple university employee andrea constand at his cheltenham home. he denies any wrongdoing and suggested in a recent radio interview that racism may be behind the accusations. the jury will be sequestered in a hotel for the duration of the trial. a practice one local judge does not like. >> when you tell people y

katy zachry more from where some of the passengers have been taken. fill us in on this. >> reporter: we got to the woolwitch township municipal building not long ago. this is where the uninjured passengers were taken. state police say the passengers, the 15 to 17 or so who were here, have been taken to meet one their belongings because -- to meet up with their belongings because the vehicle involved is uprighted, off the road. new jersey state police wanted the people who were uninjured to be able to get their personal belongings so they could continue on their trip down. take a look at video if we haven't already rolled it. basically, around 12:30 this morning, a tractor-trailer collided with a bug, eagle bus, incorporated. it left from new york, headed to atlanta with stops in virginia and south carolina. in west deptford, as you said, it crashed with this tractor-trailer. it overturned, and more than 30 people on board were injured. fortunately no major injuries and no deaths involved in this. the drivers of the tractor-trailer and bus were uninjur

. >> let's go back to the report from katy zachry. >> reporter: we're outside of cooper university hospital in camden where inside about one-third of the injured passengers from this bus crash are being treated. state police in new jersey tell us that around 12:30 this morning on the southbound side of the new jersey turnpike in west deptford township a tractor-trailer collided with a tour bus. the tour bus traveling from new york headed to atlanta with reported stops in virginia and south carolina. there were 50 people on board including the driver. over 30 people are injured as a result of this crash. the bus, i'm told from people at the scene, overturned on to the side of the turnpike and landed in a grassy ditch. fortunately, there are no major injuries and no fatalities reported with this crash. the driver of the tractor-trailer is reported to be okay, too. you do have more than 30 people from this crash taken to various hospitals, about six throughout the new jersey area. i'm told that people are complaining of pain in extremities. again, no major injuries. there were several children
