i was talking to the folks at kcbs.ven't seen lightning strikes there you about we have seen plenty at the coast. the half moon bay area getting pounded and the san jose area last night seeing some rain coming down. a welcome return of the rain that's fallen. they had a good downpour there. .09" of rain after 9:00 last night. and they may not be done yet. check out our high-def doppler radar. you can see some of that rainfall and automatic those lightning strikes showing up along -- all those lightning strikes showing up along the coastline. we are not done just yet. we could see more on the way although the rain line is going to be shifting further to the south. you can see some of that activity now towards los gatos. pretty good cells near blossom hill road a pretty good downpour there. more of that on the way toward the afternoon. a lot of clouds out there now and chance of more thunderstorms too. we'll have more on that coming up. right now let's check out the roads with elizabeth. >> watch out for slick conditions

kcbs radio's matt bigler joins us from the plant with more on the investigation.att. >> reporter: well, details are very sketchy about what happened here outside a baby are us store at the plant shopping -- babies 'r us store at the plant shopping center. we can show you what happened in the last few hours. there is a bullet strike on a window in between babies 'r us and an office max store. there's another shattered window over here. apparently, there was obviously a shooting. what we're hearing is that a woman armed with a gunshot at another woman outside the entrance to these two stores. there's also some evidence of blood splatter over here on the sidewalk. this was not a fatal shooting from what we understand. and arrests have been made. but this is all secondhand information at this point. not confirmed by police. we're waiting to hear back from san jose pd to to find out what happened outside the babies 'r us store in san jose. but reports indicate a woman armed with a gunshot at another woman and has been hospitalized. live from the scene in san jose, matt
