there are injuries that is what the local affiliate kcen is reporting. we do not know the extent of the injuries. we do not know if there are any fatalities. but we know there is a shelter in place and people are being told to stay inside as this active shooter situation is trying to be stabilized. that is what we know right now. yes, this is the same fort hood where back in 2009 there was a mass shooting and 13 people lost their lives. we're trying to gather more information exactly what is happening now, and this is video of that tragic day back in august of 2009. former fbi agency manny gomez is walking us through this situation. it's an army post. surely it's safe and clearly that was obvious back in 2009 that something awful can happen anywhere. but talk us through how they're trying to figure out the situation, and how, in fact, do they even know that there is only one active shooter? >> well, that' that's a very vad point. they don't know at this point if there is only one shooter. so they have to dissect and try to analyze exactly what's going on
