let's bring in keir simmons who is in london for us following this story with an update. >> ayman, we're hearing from some witnesses there -- i know you've been speaking to many, but one in particular who says that he was inside the hotel with his family, five of them on the 15th floor, and that they only realized that the fire was breaking out when they saw with their own eyes that the neighboring room was on fire. this man is saying that there were no fire alarms going off, no sprinklers. he says that they made their way down from that 15th floor by the staircase. he says people were climbing over each other to try to get out of the building and that later he saw people coming down. it sounded like he said coming down -- being carried down in wheelchairs. so clearly there has been an evacuation process taking place inside the building and it appears to have been in part organized by people who were inside the building itself and simply found the staircase and made their own way out. other witnesses from the outside of the building are saying that they can see into the building and it a
