this is steady rain here, keira.brunt of the storm, though, what new york is bracing for and really expecting to feel the impact tomorrow morning. it's high tide around 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, and that's really what city officials here are concerned about, the potential for flooding. we're here in lower manhattan, and this is evacuation zone. there's concern about flooding here. residents told to leave. every once in a while we'll see a police car going through with announcements on loud speakers reminding people about that evacuation. you'll see occasionally a person coming through. we just found malaki darcy, a building manager of one of the buildings behind me. malaki, you came out to kind of inspect and see how the water is going. how about the evacuations? did most people leave? >> yes, most people -- it was actually a lot smoother than i had p anticipate had p anticipated. we have only 24 people that couldn't leave. basically, pets, i had someone who had children who just had surgery. everybody was compliant. >> re
